THE GREEKS
The greek wars happened between polis or city states . They mainly used big ships to conquer the polis, because greek lived in different islands. they mainly used coper to make helmets, swords...

THE PERSIAN
The persians had an organised army and they travelled all over the persic gulf conquering everything they saw


THE ROMANS
They had the most powerful army and the conquered all the mediterranean countryes. They have been the most influential country because they spread their culture in Europe and we keep on maintaining it

CRUSADES
The crusades started in 11th century when the muslims and the christians fought in order to conquere. Some christian countries wanted to stop the muslim's spread and they tried to conserve their strategical point which was Jerusalem.

FIRST WORLD WAR
The First World War started in 1914 and finished in 1918. Almost of the countries fought on it and at the end there were millions of dead people. Europe was debastated and the humanity knew the man was the worst enemy for the man.


SPANISH CIVIL WAR
The Spanish Civil War began on July 17, 1936 and finished on April 1, 1939. The war began when the right forces gave a coup. At the end of the war, began the Franco dictatorship in Spain that would last until 1976.



SECOND WORLD WAR
The Second World War was the largest and bloody armed conflict of the history of the world, which faced the Allied Powers and the Axis Powers. Armed forces of more than seventy countries participated in air, naval and land fighting. For effect of war died around 60 million people, with civilians most of the deaths. The global conflict began on September 1, 1939 to end officially on September 2, 1945.

As you can see guns can have a big influence upon people.
For example this bloody game can turn children agressive and the violence can become something normal in ther life. But as we are going to show you in undeveloped countryes the situation is a litlle bit different.







WEAPON LAWS

(Quite philosophic. To think)

All contryes have estric laws to prevent some dangerous weapons, but each countres has several different laws :

· NUCLEAR WEAPONS: Their use is strongly forbiden by all the countryes that took part in the international court.

But is it true that all the countryes are against it ?

NO!!!!!!!
You may think about some small countryes, but for example U.S.A, China, Russia or India have a lot of them.

· Do you think it is right U.S.A attacks Irak because they might have high destructive weapons when they have a lot of nuclear bombs?

What do you think? Isn´t the world `quite´ hypocrite? Are we so stupid to create nuclear weapons and destroy ourselfes?

· GUNS: The laws of this weapon depends on the location

In most of the countryes guns are banned for citizen use. For example China, France, Spain… and can only obteined having a licence
However in many other countryes guns can be easily obteined. We are going to foccus on some different countryes:

-Indian citizes are allowed to have up to three guns.

-In Brazil people who have 25 or more years can use guns indoors

-In Finland guns are allowed after having some controls. 32 citizens per 100 have guns

-In U.S.A some states put some laws against laws while other states allow their use. In that people own guns to protect themselves.

Do you agre with having guns to protect yourselve?

Isn´t it a high price to pay if we take into account the recent murders in american universities?

But… if you live in an undeveloped and dangerous country?

· KNIVES:It is known that knives are easily obtained and that everyboby have some of them in the kitchen to cook. They are generaly legal, but some of them are so big that can reach the hearth and are banned in the street or are portable and are no sold because are too dangerous

In one hand they are really useful, but in the other hand people can commit murders, attracs, suicides…
